It's a cracked tooth. From grinding. Makes perfect sense. I woke up yesterday morning & the gum was swollen. Because I had been grinding my teeth in my sleep. It has to be removed. Then wear a night guard.
They tried to upsell me on a bone graft. $600.00. Everything else is covered. I Googled bone grafts for extractions when I got home. They're necessary if you plan on getting an implant later. This is the back tooth. No.

I tried at least a couple to try and control my snoring, but they didn’t work. Once my mouth opened, they’d fall out of place and even when they were where they were supposed to be, I was still sawing logs like a timber man and they were very obtrusive and uncomfortable. I guess if you can keep your mouth closed while sleeping you might adjust and get used to one. But they never worked out for me. FIRE DAVE ROBERTS!!!

I had repeatedly been warned. 100% my fault. 25 years ago a dentist told me he's seen bone loss just since the last visit. $200.00 for a night guard. It used to wake my brothers up. You get old enough, & brittle enough, this shit catches up.

When I broke my ankle, I like was - I only broke my ankle? I fell down a flight of stairs, for Christ's sake.

That tooth is crunchy. I'm chewing on it right now.
The dental provider sucks. I called my general practitioner to get a refill on the antibiotics.

I fucking hate this insurance carrier. Can't wait to get rid of them.
I called the dentist (who I got through the carrier) & asked what's up with the referral. I had tried earlier to get a refill on the antibiotics. They didn't answer the phone. But this time I asked what's going on with the referral. It's for an EXTRACTION. Very straightforward. I was told approval normally takes between 4 to 6 weeks. (Silence.). But I can call the insurance company & ask for it to be expedited. Okay.
The insurance company said 5 to 10 days. It should only take 5 to 10 DAYS. Not 4 to 6 WEEKS. I expressed concern about growing immune to the antibiotics. Maybe allergic. The girl said she can call the provider & ask them on a three-way call. Sounds good. Please don't tell them I'm on the line until the end of the call. Then ask if that's okay with me. The woman actually laughed at how evil that sounded. I was setting them up. She agreed. It hasn't even been SUBMITTED. They hadn't submitted the claim. I'm over here eating teeth & taking so much aspirin (after a brain hemorrhage) that my left arm was bruising.
They wound up with the billing clerk has already gone home for the weekend. It was 3:00 PM. I can call again Monday morning. Gee, thanks. The woman from the insurance company apologized. My conclusion is I pissed off the dentist's office by not agreeing to the out of pocket $600.00 bone graft.
The pain woke me up again at 4:00 AM. Fed the cats & am sitting here waiting for a Norco to kick in. Some Oregel. It's a little better.

The swelling is back. My throat is sore. I've developed immunity to the antibiotics.
This is all on the dentist's office.

Saw a nice Vietnamese woman dentist. A private practice. It was like night & day. I had seen her before about maybe getting a bridge & was overjoyed she was in the system.
A little over an hour later that tooth was gone. I just woke up from a nap with no pain. What a relief. She showed me pictures of the inflammation.
Next, we'll get that bridge. She gets all my business from now on.

I'm also contemplating putting on a show in the other dentist's office. To warn their patients to check things out first.
What they did, or didn't, do was totally unnecessary. No request for services had been made by this morning. That's when I knew I had to go.

Just ran into my old boss at the supermarket. Didn't recognize him at first. He had grown a beard. The upshot is I MIGHT be getting some shifts at his hotel. One of the waiters, who worked both locations, said this one is much better. It's a union house. They're always busy.
I haven't worked in about two weeks.

Back at work today. They haven't broken from their presentation yet. This event looks like death on a stick. But you take the bad the good.

So Friday was a funeral. Cops. Good. They usually drink a lot. Maybe half the crowd showed up though. Apparently they're fighting over the estate. Geez! Can't that wait until AFTER the funeral? Show the man some respect. But I made $130.00 for picking my nose. Saturday was some kind of seminar. Hosted. Beer & wine only. 90% women. $25.00.
I went in thinking I hope they tip 20 to 30 dollars. They split it right down the middle.
Some pencil necked corporate geek showed up for the funeral. Never saw him before. He had a nametag. Said he had spoken to the hostess. Cut the bar off now. It was 6:25. They had the room until 7:00. Okay. Whatever you say.
Of course, people came up to the bar after another manager had wheeled off all the liquor. Predictable. The only conclusion I could reach was this corporate geek was watching me drink coffee on a monitor. I make $16.00 an hour. Wound up working just 5.5 hours. That's $88.00 gross. They charged the party $225.00 for my presence.
Bean counters. The new management company are bean counters. It's ALWAYS employee theft & waste with bean counters. Never THEIR salaries. Or the shortsightedness of cutting off 75 people when they were charging for 150.
I'll watch my ass around them. I did nothing wrong. But corporate geeks revel in 'finding' waste. They only made a net profit of $137.00 on my presence. Great public relations.

Worked. My boss gave me the standard lecture at the start of the shift. I'm not professional enough. A customer found lipstick on her wine glass. Yada-yada-yada. He said he didn't have a book I misplaced. It might be on eBay, knowing him. He made some crack about deducting something from my pay. I responded... "That's okay. I'll just take it out of the register." HA-HA! Choke on that. He seemed momentarily taken aback. I'm not supposed to read or look at my phone. At 7:12, I saw my boss on his phone. At 8:00 a waiter was sitting on a bench with his phone. My boss left early. His cousin was there. He started to take my cash register to the back. "I have that." He thanked me. He knows I don't trust him. He can still take money out after I left. But I wrote down what I turned in. Do you REALLY want to write me up? Because this will go to HR again. It's a game of chicken. It was a group of ambulance chasing lawyers. They're okay though. One was absolutely gorgeous. About 6 foot. A blonde. Perfect complexion. A guy tipped me 50 bucks. I walked with $119.00 on $355.00 in sales. $355.00. What am I supposed to do if I can't read or even use my phone? I'm getting pretty sick of this shit. The double-standard. He wants his cousin back in charge of the money.

Worked a party & made an easy $203.00.
Nothing on the schedule for next week.
