Kings lose to the Senators 4-1. It just gets worse. Rangers now two games under .500 after home loss to rival Islanders tonight. GO DODGERS!!! I poured out a little beer for the death of your Rangers & my Kings.

Apparently they wanted to prove they hadn't hit rock bottom yet. They've now lost 9 in a row.

Kings travel to Anaheim for battle of bottom dwellers
Not all that far removed from the glory days of hockey in Southern California, there will be scant few reminders Sunday as the Los Angeles Kings head south on Interstate 5 to play the Ducks in Anaheim.

Finally made it to my first NHL game this weekend. Decided to shoot down to Nashville and see the local Predators take on my Rangers. Great game and my boys pulled out a 2 - 1 win.
It was amazing how different the game was from when I played as well as from the minor league teams we have and have had in Cincy. The speed, crispness of passing - just freaking amazing.
Plus Nashville is such a great little town for live music. Must have seen a dozen plus bands, one better than the next.
We were at Kid Rock’s place for food & drinks when we saw they had a section in one corner roped off and reserved. A few of Nashville’s finest were also standing around and the next thing we knew, in enters the Kid himself. Got a few pix, seemed pretty friendly with the crowd.
Headed back north to Cincy this morning. Not looking forward to that four plus hour drive, tho.
GO DODGERS!!!

Hockey doesn't translate well to TV. Get premium seats & everyone will know what I'm talking about. Got Tessa skating lessons when she was a kid. Was she lame or what? "How did I look Daddy?" "GREAT, honey! You're making real progress." Yikes!

Got our seats from a broker I use from time to time. They were someone’s season tickets, about four or five rows behind the home bench and just right of center ice - couldn’t have really been much better.
We will definitely be going back there and maybe shoot up to Columbus (only 90 minutes north) for games in the future.
The other cool thing was the game was at 1:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed to the rafters. And for an 11 year old venue, it looked like it just opened this week.
GO DODGERS!!!
