SO GLAD to see the NFL is doing everyone a solid by keeping concession prices in Atlanta reasonable for the Super Bowl with $2 hot dogs and $5 beers.
Now how about addressing the FIVE FIGURE ticket prices and / or the fact that the average Joe fan has about as much of a chance of attending as they do of winning the lottery?
And after those two games yesterday? Dennis Miller hit it out of the park with his tweet “I guess the television market in L.A. is significantly larger than the one in La”.
What a joke!
GO DODGERS!!!

I came SO close to a dream Super Bowl. Was TOTALLY bummed to see Grady and the Cheatriots getting call after call on that OT drive. The offsides, pass interference and especially “ghost” roughing calls were all nearly as bad as the mugging, helmet to helmet non-call in New Orleans. I’ll be rooting for LA even though their entry is tainted to say the least. But something tells me Kraft, Brady & Belichick will end up with another trophy in their case. GO DODGERS!!!

The roughing the passer call was pretty bogus. But, if we see through out the league refs don't allow the defense to lay a finger on QBs anymore. And, especially their star QBs like Brady. However, it can also be argued that from reffing crew to reffing crew there is a lot of inconsistency as to what is roughing the passer etc. Anyhow that is the only call that I think was pretty vague. I have always believed that the champ needs to be dethroned. It's very possible that the Chiefs go down and they themselves score the winning touch down in overtime if they had won the coin toss. I don't know maybe I see it that way because even if they are not my team I root for them, great dynasty. I love what they do on the field and how Bellichick coaches up the guys they draft, to me that is his biggest skill, as well as doing it with a bunch of white guys that ball at the skill position, lol, pretty crazy.

My only wish is that my uncle (who I have great admiration of) who lived both in Miami and Boston in the 70’s would have brought me a Patriots jersey instead of a Bob Griese Dolphins jersey that year he came home for Christmas. I’d have been a pretty happy camper this last decade or so. As it was, I adopted the Fins as my team back then and as good as they were in those formidable years, they haven’t had a decent coach since Shula and QB since Marino (and even he couldn’t get them a title in his only SB appearance). Forty plus years and counting; even worse than our boys in blue. GO DODGERS!!!

It seems to me that Miami is strictly a Dolphins town. I think Jimmy Johnson made them competitive for a while but they've struggled for the most part.

Their biggest problem for the last decade or so has been ownership. Stephen Ross is basically Mike Brown south. Has more money than he knows what to do with, but doesn’t have a clue about owning or running an NFL team.
He hires poor internal managers who make poor decisions regarding the draft, free agents, etc. He couldn’t even persuade Manning to sign for more money in, let’s face it - a FAR better climate and city than Denver.
They have gone through a half dozen head and dozens more other coaches since he bought the team. There’s simply no consistency and very few players want to go / play there.
Now he’s going to hire ANOTHER guy who’s never been a head coach and from what I’ve heard and seen, has difficulties completing a coherent sentence. PERFECT for a job that depends on communication!
There’s also talk of Miami taking Murray with their first pick. Great - another 5’ 9” running QB with one full NCAA season under his belt. Kid will be in traction by mid-season with as bad as Miami’s O line is.
Not to mention the fact that I’ve yet to be convinced that type of QB translates to the NFL. There’s been far more failures than successes over the last decade plus.
About the only difference between Ross and Brown is money. Ross has spent a ton of it, he’s just done so foolishly. Brown still drives a 30+ year old Chevy Cavalier and wears suits and ties I think might have been his dads.
It will definitely be interesting around here in Cin City when the lease is up (six or seven years) at Paul Brown Stadium. Mikey (or his kids) will no doubt want another new play pen and threaten to move if he / they don’t get one.
Hopefully the moronic tax payers who are still paying for PBS stand up and say “don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya”.
GO DODGERS!!!

I like to talk up the Steelers and Patriots recently as a prime example. Yeah, doesn't make sense to hire another inexperienced guy to run the team. Kyler Murray looks like a complete bust. From what I've seen the dude is a runner more than a passer, and a small framed one, and we know that that doesn't last in the NFL. I totally believe he is trying to ride the NFL train because he didn't want to go to the minors in the Majors. Your last sentence is pretty funny. Well good luck to the Fins going forward.

It’s interesting to me that teams like Pittsburgh and New England stay so consistent, especially Pittsburgh. Six titles is pretty impressive, considering there’s still a few teams that have NEVER even made it to the Super Bowl.
They were great in the 70’s & 80’s with Bradshaw and even with personnel and coaching changes have stayed competitive through the last couple of decades with Big Ben.
Dallas was like that for awhile, but they seemed to have declined in the Jerry Jones era.
It took New England awhile to get where they are - they were one of the worst teams before Kraft and company took over. But damn - Belichick and Brady have a dynasty there that doesn’t seem to lose a beat even when they lose players to injury or free agency.
They always seem to have a replacement that steps right in and performs as well or better than the dude he’s replacing.
My Phins dominated the early to mid-70’s, but are years away from making it back to the top. And being in the same division as NE doesn’t help matters one iota.
GO DODGERS!!!

I wasn't expecting a pitchers' duel. The Rams join the Dodgers as getting a participation trophy.
Congrats Patriots. You deserved it. Boston owns LA. (Shivers!).

Guessing there was a TON of money on the “over”, so Vegas has to be smiling like the Cheshire cat. Patsies covered as well. First defensive game we’ve seen in quite awhile. Edelman was a beast - reminded me of Welker a few years back. Brady was Brady when he needed to be. I hate them 😝 GO DODGERS!!!

Rams could have tied it but Cooks dropped the game tying touch down in the end zone that went right through his arms. Congrats to the Patriots! One heck of a dynasty. If it isn't Brady it's Bellichick. What a defensive performance put in by them and game plan.

Dude was open on some of those routes by yards. He must step on feet or something. Hey. If you can get away with it. I used to wonder how the hell Jamaal Wilkes got open under the basket so much. Then I saw him pushing off. After that I looked for it (& saw it) every single time.
