And the Oscar goes to . . . GO DODGERS!!! Yup. He hit & showed no signs of an injury. Slightly sprained shoulder official report from Reds. Sounds like someone is going to have an excuse for not giving 100%. GO DODGERS!!!

I think Puig is selling that a bit. You could clearly see he didn't hit his elbow but that is what he grabbed. With every passing day, I get happier to know that he is no longer with the team.

Circus catch by Puig. That's the good news for Reds & or Puig fans. Bad news is he was either hamming it up again or he's hurt. And the Oscar goes to . . .
GO DODGERS!!! OMG, I totally was thinking the same thing...
so typical.

Yasiel is actually halfway hot right now. Of course that's relative to the season he's having in a bandbox.
Since May 18th (against the Dodgers, of course) Puig has gone 10-33 / .303-3-8 in 8 games. Unfortunately his OB% is the same .303. A .576 SLG% though. This mini-streak brings his overall batting average to a season high .220. His OPS+ is 68. Turner Ward's magic has taken hold again. Yasiel is raking lefties to the tune of .156-2-4 in 51 plate appearances. He's batting .194 on the road. 6 of his 10 homers have come away from home though.
We have plenty of lefthanded bats in our outfield. I don't even miss Pollock. Was ambivalent about his signing in the first place.

Yasiel's half season of all out motivation is paying big dividends. He's now batting .261-22-59 / .306 / .496 overall. 28 homeruns & 74 RBI's are his career best. He seems sure to smash them both.
Penguin must be ecstatic. When do The Moody Blues hit Cincinnati?

This is true; from what I remember, they went to numerous Angel games, but had never been to the Ravine. I live halfway across the country and have been dozens more games than a supposed “fan” that lives right down the street, including two World Series games last year. GO DODGERS!!!

Ambition on apparent hold. Time for another break-in?

Classic. Was in the other room but heard Puig got traded to Cleveland for Trevor Bauer. Then he got into a skirmish on the field. Are the Indians giving up already? .252-22-61 for Yasiel. Bauer is an elite pitcher when right.
345 miles from Chicago to Cleveland.

Trevor Bauer rhp 1 year/$13M (2019) 1 year/$13M (2019) won arbitration case with Cleveland 2/13/19 ($13M-$11M)
One year of club control left.
Yasiel Puig rf 1 year/$9.7M (2019) 1 year/$9.7M (2019)
Free agent at the end of this season.
If there's no money changing hands, the Indians would save approximately $1,100,000 in 2019. Cleveland is 2.0 games out in the AL Central. The Reds are 6.5 out in the NL Central. San Diego is supposed to be involved too.
