2.1 regular-season innings pitched
Wins - 0
Losses - 2
ERA - 3.86
Ks - 0
Matt Strahm gets the start for a planned bullpen game as the Padres await the return of left-hander Joey Lucchesi from a right hip strain.
Walker Buehler, RHP
Walker Buehler, last 3 starts
18.0 regular-season innings pitched
Wins - 0
Losses - 1
ERA - 3.50
Ks - 21
With unquestioned ability, Buehler proved his toughness by surviving a 108-mph liner to the rib cage and staying in the game to pitch well enough to win. Almost overlooked was his success with offspeed pitches.

May 27, 2018 8:57 am Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Swats seventh homer by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Taylor went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in a loss to the Padres on Saturday.
Taylor has really turned things on over his last 10 contests, batting .290 with four extra-base hits while reclaiming his spot atop the Dodgers' lineup. The 27-year-old may not be able to reach last year's .288 batting average (which was buoyed by a .361 BABIP), but his power (.201 isolated power rating) has definitely carried over.

May 27, 2018 3:47 am Dodgers' Justin Turner: Swats first homer Saturday by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Turner went 1-for-3 with two walks and a solo home run in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Padres.
It took him 11 games, but Turner finally launched his first homer after missing the first seven weeks of the season with a broken wrist. While his power stroke has been lacking, the 33-year-old still sports a solid .282/.364/.436 slash line, and he should continue to produce strong fantasy value hitting in the middle of the Dodgers' lineup.

May 27, 2018 3:44 am Dodgers' Alex Wood: Hit hard by Padres on Saturday by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Wood didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Padres, coughing up five runs on six hits -- including three home runs -- and a walk over 5.1 innings while striking out seven.
The left-hander threw 52 of 79 pitches for strikes and started off 17 of 22 batters with first-pitch strikes, but Wood wasn't as sharp within the strike zone as usual -- the three homers allowed matched his total from his previous seven starts combined. Things may not get any better for him in his next outing, however, as he carries a 3,75 ERA into Coors Field on Friday.

May 26, 2018 7:50 pm Dodgers' Rich Hill: Return not imminent by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Hill (finger) is still "a ways away" from being able to pitch without his blister-prone finger uncovered, which he would need to do before returning to the big-league rotation, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Manager Dave Roberts didn't give a firm timetable, but it should be weeks, not days before Hill returning to game action is a realistic possibility. In the meantime, Brock Stewart will get at least one more turn, while Ross Stripling may be pitching his way into a rotation spot even after Hill gets healthy. Clayton Kershaw (biceps) could return to the rotation Thursday, which would likely result in Stewart getting sent to Triple-A.

May 26, 2018 6:56 pm Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Could join rotation Thursday by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Kershaw (biceps) threw a 60-pitch simulated game Saturday and says he "should be" ready to pitch in five days, meaning he could start Thursday's home game against the Phillies, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
He said that if the team decides to activate him for Thursday's start, he'll be ready, so all signs point toward him joining the rotation next week. The situation should become clear in the coming days, but Kershaw's owners should be prepared to deploy him in weekly lineups.

Another brilliant performance by Walker Buehler. Absolutely. Going 7 innings now, incredible! Really cleaned it up. No walks in his last 2 starts. As he gains more & more confidence, he's attacking the hitters.
