didn't take long for the Angels to blow him out. TS surgery is required. No pitching next year & maybe not even ready to hit come opening day.

www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=ohtansh01&t=b&year=2018Why is he still playing? This makes no sense at all. I grew up on the Dodgers & the Angels playing at Dodger Stadium. Some of my earliest memories were of Dean Chance. Arte Moreno started out as an incompetent but well meaning owner to me. Him playing Ohtani now smacks of greed & avarice. Ohtani won't be ready for opening day in 2019. 2018 is already over for the Halos. Mike Trout is being wasted on this team. Moreno literally has the best two-way player since Babe Ruth & he's jeopardizing the entire deal on greed & avarice. He had an excuse when battling Frank McCourt. He was trying to win the LA market from a crook. Game over there. McCourt was forced out & Guggenheim took over. Now you have to look out for the Orange County market. They're notoriously fickle. (Sue jumped ship at just the right time.). By over-reaching Moreno may have left an opening for the Dodgers to crack into Orange County's soft market, instead of the other way around. Now he's endangering his two most prized assets. Btw - will always love Mike Scioscia. His contract was ridiculous though Mike Scioscia Manager 10 years/$50M (2009-18) 10 years/$50M (2009-18) signed extension with Angels through 2018 1/5/09 16:$6M, 17:$6M, 18:$6M deal gives Scioscia right to opt out of contract after 2015 season Be gone, Mike. You're a dinosaur.
