Hope Muncy’s bat makes up for or exceeds his glove deficiencies. He has not looked good or very comfortable there, especially on balls in the dirt. Gotta do better than the olé waves we have seen the last couple of nights. GO DODGERS!!!

I'm just hoping the long range effect is Cody works on hitting southpaws. He's becoming Andre Ethier. Not that Andre was bad or anything. Just that that aspect of his game drove me (& Don Mattingly, apparently) crazy. Don had a lifetime .296 BA versus lefthanders.

Cody hasn’t looked much like the ROY we saw last season against righties or lefties. That LONG ugly swing at balls in or close to the dirt both inside and outside he can’t seem to lay it off of ala Matt Kemp. On a more positive note, Puig in the eight hole (seven last night & tonight) seems to have made him a happy camper. GO DODGERS!!!

In 2018 he's hitting .194 / .286 / .250 against lefthanders. .233 / .298 / .453 versus righties. Last year it was .183 / .317 / .275 & .288 / .355 / .554. It would suggest he's being pitched to a different way now. Low & inside on the sliders from southpaws?

Career SO/9 is at 9.5, that's exceptional.
This year higher though. At 11.0
