I wonder if there’s a chance the Dodgers take a flyer on him?

Interesting.
The question is, why is he so bad?

Maybe he's part of that 15% or whatever % it is where TJS doesn't work.

Maybe he's part of that 15% or whatever % it is where TJS doesn't work. It's way past that. It is not a health issue, his ball doesn't move....

From the article I believe I linked the other day regarding Bklyn_LA and new "primary repair" procedure. "....Since then, Tommy John surgery has become a near-routine procedure. Having been performed on hundreds of athletes, and in particular MLB pitchers, medical literature reports the success rate is 85 percent....." www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/ct-tommy-john-surgery-alternative-20170112-story.html

:) Oh, I thought you were questioning the %. You mean it's way past TJ surgery. Maybe he needs another? Or it didn't work well?

I used "?", didn't "say" definitively anything. Here's an article that attributes his demise as injury related. It also mentions the guy being rather disruptive, kinda seems a head case to some extent. Given his great initial years, the surgery, a bounceback year, and then the plummet, it seemed injury most likely. TJ? The thoracic thing? Who knows? Matt Harvey knows. www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/23408278/the-had-come-mets-say-goodbye-matt-harvey
