Hopefully that last clunker was due to the food poisoning and he's better now.

Roberts guards that like the empty vaults at Fort Knox. He'd never post one this early.

Yeah, I know, but hoping he might have let this one slip by early...

Certainly hoping the last start was Wood still dealing with the food poisoning. By the sound of it, he shouldn't have been pitching anyway. I expect a much better performance tonight. Hopefully the offense stays hot.

Mitchell has pitched 3 games.
The first was awful, 5 ER in 5 IP
The 2nd was good, no runs, 3 hits in 5.2 IP. 6 BB though.
His last outing was 3 IP, 3 H, 3 ER and 5 BB.
14 walks so far in 13.2 IP. Guessing our guys will be patient tonight.

Good to see the Kikester getting a day off from batting cleanup. So far this year he's 1-13 .077-0-0 /.250 / .077 in the #4 spot. We need to face more righthanders.

I may have accidentally hit on something. The Dodgers are 4-2 vs. lefties & 2-7 vs. righthanders. Let's give the Kikester a nice vacation.

Los Angeles Dodgers @ San Diego Padres, Petco Park TV: SportsNet LA, SNLA Spanish Radio: 570 LA Sports, KTNQ 1020 Dodgers are 6-9 & leapfrogged past the Padres & into fourth place in the NL West last night. Padres are now 7-11 & in dead last. Alex Wood, LHP Wood figures to improve from his previous start LOL I would sure hope so

I wondered why Doc didn't have Bellinger third & Kemp behind him. This is close enough.
